One of my good friends has a newer 550 XP with Autotune and loves it.The 620 has improved intake and exhaust which helps explain why it costs $200.00 more. The Echo 590 can use up to a 24" bar while the Echo 620 can use up to a 28in bar. According to Acres site the 2-10 should have a McCulloch carburetor and also has points. I'm pretty sure some have changed the carb over to a Walbro however. A healthy 038 mag will pull a 28” bar and full comp chain in soft wood no problem. Hard wood will slow it down a little, just like any other saw. I run a 28” light bar and RS chain on mine. Got another with a 20” bar EXL chain and 8 pin rim sprocket.

The tree today was an old apple tree with an oblong base of 20 X 22 inches. The saw cut very fast with the full length of the bar, I was very happy.
